A family history in the Schnalstal Valley.

It was always a challenge to enter the Schnalstal Valley through the narrow gorge at the entrance. Climbing over the Hochjoch and Bildstoeckljoch mountain passes to keep in touch with friends in the neighbouring Oetztal and Schlanders (Goeflan) proved to be the easier route to take. Many a couple found each other in this manner.

Who would have thought that  Paul Grüner would change his hotheaded ways so suddenly at the age of 40, to find and marry the girl of his dreams? Her name is Stefania and their children Josef and Cosima make their happiness complete.
