Created in 2016 as part of the enhancement of Karthaus, this serene trail offers a perfect opportunity for introspection in a peaceful, natural setting.

The Via Monachorum offers several meaningful and fascinating points along its route:

Carthusian Monastery Remains: The path passes through Certosa (Karthaus), where visitors can explore the remnants of the historic 14th-century Carthusian monastery. This serene site once housed monks who followed a vow of silence.
Plaques with Philosophical Quotes: Along the trail, hikers will encounter plaques featuring philosophical quotes that reflect themes of tranquility and inner peace, enhancing the meditative experience.
Life-sized Monk Figures: Monk sculptures guide hikers along the path, symbolizing the monks' spiritual journey and adding a symbolic element to the hike.
